Blooming Flowers

I saw the roots crawling on the ground
Cradling up to the old trunk by themselves
I sat there, my back leaning on the surface, rough against my skin

Branches so long to sprout thousand leaves
Green sheets above as my shield
The roof was filled with blooming white blossoms, struggling against the blowing wind
Summer breeze sent it's greeting
Sweet scent of sun and buds
Drifted my consciousness away to the dark

My time and existence was vague
As time flew, earthy scent replaced the crisps
Buds started to wither away like a rain
What once green appeared much tanner
As I opened my eyes to witness
that the flowers bloom only to wilt
